Lead Safe Rhode Island

Since 1999, the HRC has provided approximately $500,000/year towards lead hazard reduction activities throughout the State.  Funds are used by property owners to eliminate lead based paint hazards from residential structures.  These monies are used in conjunction with and to match federal resources made available to Rhode Island Housing for similar purposes.  Since its inception, HRC supported Lead Hazard Reduction work has resulted in the following accomplishments, by community:
