Expedited Permit

Expedited Permit is an affordable housing development tool to fast track approval process within State agency. An individual/developer may apply to the Housing Resources Commission and request that a project be classified as a project of critical concern. Once the application has been approved and designated as a project of critical concern, State agencies are required to render decisions on the proposed project in accordance with RIGL 42.128.2. Please carefully read the program criteria and complete the application. An incomplete application may delay the approval process.
