Municipal Fellows Program

The Municipal Fellows Program is a one-time program that provides SFRF funding to municipalities to address staff shortages that impact housing production. Municipalities may apply for up to $168,000 to offset the cost of hiring one Fellow for a fellowship term of up to 2-years. To apply, municipalities must articulate a scope of work that they propose to assign a fellow relating to municipal planning, zoning, or development activities, provided that such relates directly to increasing housing development within the municipality. The program is accepting applications on a rolling basis until funds are depleted or October 1, 2024. For more information, click the link for the solicitation below.
